It’s a buyer’s market in Central Okanagan. In March, there were 131 sales, 1203 active listings, and the average sale price for detached homes in the Central Okanagan trended downwards to $986,600. Aside from the Covid-19 2020 year, this is the first time prices have slid from February to March, as the market historically picks up, in over 10 years. The condo market featured 81 sales and 682 active listings at the end of the month. The average sale price trended downwards to $496,000. Townhome sales were 60, active listings were up slightly to 370 and the average sale price showed minimal movement at $719,600.
